Black Birthday

Here is the "black" birthday card we did for the Birthday Bash Card Class...You know you have to offer this one ~ and several people made it!! I used the background stamp Polka Dots (on the dormant list) to make the strip across the middle. With the Big Bold Birthday set, we stamped the base of the cupcake directly onto the Whisper White paper, then stamped the icing and the candle on scrap Whisper White cardstock and cut them out, using Dimensionals to make them pop. This was a simple, quick card to do and could be updated with brighter, bolder colors and DSP across the middle if you didn't need a "black" birthday card.

Enjoy! and come back soon!

Supplies:
Stamps: Polka Dots (dormant list), Big Bold Birthday
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink: Basic Black, Whisper White Craft, Yoyo Yellow marker (to color the flame on the candle)
Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 2-Way Glue Pen (both for putting a little glitter on the flame), Dimensionals
