Introducing Circle Circus

Here is a swap card I did. It uses the new set Circle Circus. I love the idea of this set, but really didn't have any ideas come to mind when I got it. I was at the pool one day with my kids and saw a girl's bathing suit that was brown with bright colored circles all over it. Inspiration struck ~ and this is what I came up with! Note the new In Colors: Soft Suede, Melon Mambo, & Bermuda Bay. Hope you like it...

Club Swap Card

I've been doing a swap with my club members...I'm so proud of those that have participated ~ all of the cards have turned out really great!!

Big Shot Swap "Fake"

Hi, Everyone! I wanted to post a picture of my Big Shot Swap that I didn't go with...you all know how it works. You really aren't sure what you're going to do, so you make a card...then you change your mind about something because something just doesn't look quite right. So you come up with a 2nd card ~ and so on!! Anyway...this is the swap I decided just wasn't working for me. Not that there's anything wrong with it...I just wasn't feeling it! But I wanted to show it to you anyway because there are some nice things that I really like about it ~ like the flower!! I used quite a bit of dies for this card, but it was so fun seeing how they would all work together. And I love having the Patterns DSP because you can pull in any color to mix and match with all of your papers ~ both solids and other DSP. Let me know if you have any questions!

Masculine Birthday...

Do you have a hard time coming up with masculine cards? I loved this layout ~ my downline Katy came up with it originally and I made minor changes. This was one of the cards available at my Birthday Bash Stamp Camp...so simple and quick to complete!

The main image was stamped on Whisper White cardstock using Basic Gray ink, then I used a sponge to lightly add more Basic Gray color to the image. I just didn't like the stark contrast between the Gray ink & White cardstock. Love the idea of attaching a Mini Library Clip with a small cut of folded ribbon.
