Another Birthday Card

Here is another birthday card that we did at the Birthday Bash Card Class. I love this paper! Everything I've used it on has turned out super-cute. Of course, I do have boys and it's fun to play with girly paper sometimes! ;D This is a simple layout but it looks great with the use of DSP. Let me know if you have any questions on it!

Thanks! and enjoy...

Upsy Daisy Birthday

I love, love, love this set!! Did I mention, I love this set?? It's so easy to use ~ and, you'll notice, it's another silhouette image. I've stamped the image twice ~ once in Not Quite Navy and once in Baja Breeze ~ one on each side of the Whisper White cardstock. Then just layer onto cardstock and attach your ribbon. The button has a piece of Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon run through the holes and is attached using a Mini Glue Dot. This was also one of the cards done at my Birthday Bash card class.

Enjoy!

Supplies:
Stamps: Upsy Daisy
Cardstock: Urban Garden DSP, Kiwi Kiss, Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Whisper White

Ink: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze
Accessories: Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon, Button Bouquet Designer Buttons, Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon

Quick Thank You...

I love the look of all the silhouettes that are in the new catalog ~ they make stamping so quick and easy with such a nice effect.I just stamped the image from Pocket Silhouettes in Riding Hood Red on the left hand side of the Very Vanilla cardstock, then repeated the image 3 times across in So Saffron. Layer the Very Vanilla with the DSP onto the Pumpkin Pie layer, attach the ribbon, then attach to the So Saffron base.

Hope you like it!

Masculine Birthday...

Do you have a hard time coming up with masculine cards? I loved this layout ~ my downline Katy came up with it originally and I made minor changes. This was one of the cards available at my Birthday Bash Stamp Camp...so simple and quick to complete!

The main image was stamped on Whisper White cardstock using Basic Gray ink, then I used a sponge to lightly add more Basic Gray color to the image. I just didn't like the stark contrast between the Gray ink & White cardstock. Love the idea of attaching a Mini Library Clip with a small cut of folded ribbon.
Thanks for looking!
Supplies:
Stamp sets: Loads of Love, Full of Life
Cardstock: Urban Garden DSP, Basic Gray, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Gray

Mommy & Me Class

I had a Mommy & Me class this past Saturday ~ the girls had so much fun making their mini accordian album. They could choose this beach theme, or use birthday stamps to make it more birthday related. Lots & lots of glitter was used by all! FUN!! Of course, the Moms decided that they might need to have just a Mommy class sometime because the girls wanted to design their albums completely by themselves ~ just let me know when!!

Thanks for stopping by!

UPDATE....I have a door!!

Yes...I have a door ~ complete with a door knob and everything!!!

I now have a bathroom!!!!

Woo Hoo!!! For those of you who are my customers, you know how excited this makes me. We moved into our house 2 years ago with an unfinished basement. The first room we finished was my stamp room, but until today, if anyone had to use the restroom, they had to go upstairs. (My poor, poor customers...I am so thankful they have been patient ~ probably more patient that I have been!). But not anymore!!! There is now a bathroom downstairs ~ granted it doesn't have a door yet, but hopefully that will be fixed later tonight or tomorrow...

Sale-a-Bration is here!!!!

This is the other card we did in club this month. It uses 3 of the products you can get for FREE through March 31st! During Sale-a-Bration you can get a free item with each $50 purchase (before shipping & tax) that you make. There are stamp sets, ribbon, and paper to choose from. This card uses Polka Dot Punches (113788) stamp set, Congrats (113770) stamp set, and the Delicate Dots Designer Series Paper (114674). We used the new Eyelet Border punch on the white strip down the side. Then we embossed the hearts with white embossing powder on Bashful Blue and So Saffron cardstock and punched them out using the new Full Heart punch. If you look closely at the Whisper White layer the hearts are on, you will notice that the corners have been paper pierced ~ just adds a nice touch! That piece was then layered on So Saffron and Certainly Celery cardstock. We used Chocolate Chip ink for the saying from the Congrats stamp set. Everything is layered on a Sahara Sand card base.

Thanks for looking!

Supplies:
Stamp sets: Polka Dot Punches; Congrats

Bleach + Stamps =

The bleaching technique! We did this technique this month in my clubs...most of them were pretty impressed by it ~ it's definitely a WOW technique! I did find out one thing ~ the supply boxes that SU! sells are not air-tight enough for bleach ~ even in a span of 2 hours. I made my sample at 4:30, then had club at 6:30 and the bleach did not hardly work at all. It had already lost it's potency. So...I recommend that you use fresh bleach each time you get ready to do this technique. That way you'll be guaranteed great results!

Enjoy! and thanks for visiting...
Supplies:
Stamp sets: Inspired by Nature; Hugs & Wishes
Cardstock: Sahara Sand; Old Olive;Chocolate Chip
Inks: Chocolate Chip; Old Olive; & bleach

About Me

I had started this blogging thing once before but didn't do so well, but have a renewed interest in trying again. I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and really want to share ideas and my love of papercrafting with all of my friends, customers, family, and people I have yet to meet. My downline started her blog and has been motivating me to give it a go again. And I've decided I need to let people know about it this time (I didn't before!) so that I have some accountability. So...here goes!!!
