Well, I decided to jump on the band wagon last month and used Patty Bennett's Brayered Roses technique (be sure to check out the link for written instructions and a video!) for my club swap. I love the look this creates! It was so easy...just try it!!!

Enjoy!

Flip-Flop Card

I participated in a Folding Card Swap in the month of May. There were so many neat cards!! Here's the card I did for it...

This is called a Flip-Flop Card. It's so hard to tell exactly how this card works without seeing it in real life. In the top photo you see the front...just imagine the card laying flat. Then you just pull on each side and the middle of the card "flip flops" to the other side (shown in the 2nd photo). I just love the Sweet Always paper!! I will miss it when it's gone. Everything I use it on is just so stinkin' cute!! It really makes a project with it's color combination.

Glad you stopped by...

Project for Downline Business Meeting

I asked one of my downline, Katy to share a project with us for our get-together. She had done this small glass votive holder from the $1 store using the bulk buy Decor Elements for a class and had a few of the kits left. I knew this would be the type of project that would be quick & simple and that was different than a card. This went together SOOOO FAST!!! and it turned out super-cute besides. Who doesn't love those type projects??

Hope you like it, too! Be sure to come back later this week when I share the card I did with them ~ I can't show it yet because I'm also doing it for my clubs this next week. I don't want to spoil the surprise!

Supplies:
Stamps: Oval All
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Certainly Celery
Ink: Basic Brown, Certainly Celery, Blush Blossom, and one of the pinks (I can't remember which one she used ;D) ~ the Basic Brown was used to stamp the image and the other colors were used to color the image in using a Blender Pen.
Accessories: Glass votive from the $1 store, Bulk Buy Flower Decor Elements, Certainly Celery 5/8" Grosgrain ribbon, Large Oval punch, Scallop Oval punch, Linen Thread, 1/16" Circle punch

Give Thanks...

I had a Give Thanks Card Buffet last night and all of the cards centered around...you guessed it ~ Thank You. Here is one of the cards we made. Again...you just can't go wrong with this paper!! So cute! And there's that Scallop Oval Punch again ~ available until June 30! Get it while it lasts!! The stamp set (Oval All) is also in the Occasions mini. The stamp actually has a butterfly on it where I put the brad ~ but I really wanted to use the flower brads with that DSP...perfect match!

Enjoy!

One of my club cards...

Here is one of the cards we did this month for Stamp Club. I have to say I'm loving everything in this mini!! We used stamps, paper, and punches from the mini this month on both of our cards.

This card started as a Pacific Point 6-1/2" square, folded in half to create the card base. We used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the boots from Scene in a Garden. I showed them how to do the Spotlight Technique this month on this card ~ remember, you can always color in your "spotlight," or leave the "spotlight" B&W and color in the remaining image. And...you gotta love the new Scallop Oval punch!!

A big "Thank You" to beedubya for the inspiration!

Hope you like it!
